Frequently asked questions
At Healing Touch my approach is to ensure that each and every treatment I give reflects my commitment to meeting your individual needs.
How do I book a treatment or ask about prices?
Contact me by Text, Whatsapp, Phone or Email stating your preference of a morning, afternoon, or early evening session and which treatment you would prefer and I will get back to you with possible time slots.
You can download and print off a Consultation form from this website or if you have difficulty with this I can Email or WhatsApp you one to print out and fill in at home.
.
Please do not email your Consultation form back to me it is your Confidential Health record and this would break GDPR rules as Emails are not encrypted or a secure path for the sharing of personal information.
All payments are directly to me via Bank transfer or Cash.
I did consider using SumUp to offer a card transaction facility however over time they charge a lot on transaction fees and as I am just starting out I would appreciate you visit an ATM or I can give you my bank details at the appointment,
What should I know before my first treatment?
Please bear in mind that if you need to cancel your appointment it could be difficult for me to replace your allocated time with someone else needing relief. The sooner you can contact me the better.
If you have a cold or a bug and are not sure if it will be gone by the day of your treatment please play it safe and let me know in plenty of time to avoid spreading germs.
Please remove make-up before your appointment if you are wishing your face to be massage, or I can provide wipes.
I use Grapeseed oil please ensure you are not allergic to this. If you wish to receive an aromatherapy massage you are consenting to me using essential oils, so if you have ever experieced adverse effects from an oil please share this with me at your appointment. At the start of the appointment we will briefly discuss any particular scents you may prefer out of a range I select.
You may just want an uplift, or grounding aroma experience. Massage does not need to be treating a particular condition or problem area, it is a treat we should give ourselves more often.
Me included!
How often should I receive treatments?
The frequency of treatments can vary depending on your individual needs and goals.
Many clients find once or twice a month suits them, others prefer once a week, some leave it months between appointments.
There is no pressure to re-book after a treatment.
Is there parking available?
If you search online 'Parking in Axminster ' several very reasonably priced short and long stay car parks will appear and they are all in easy walking distance to the centre.

What benefits can I expect from a combined Hot Stone Massage with Reiki Seichem?
Do you offer gift vouchers?

What is Reiki Seichem?
Reiki Seichem is a non invasive form of body restoration by focussing on transmitting healing energy to massively ease stress and connect you back with your soul.
Reiki helps to release energetic blockages created over time by tensing up when stressed, physicallty and mentally.
Reiki healing triggers the body's innate healing abilities by shifting physical blockages which can develop into persistent or chronic health issues.
Individuals who receive Reiki Seichem report it has lowered their anxiety levels and blood pressure significantly.
And there are no medical contraindications - meaning you do not need to seek medical consent before receiving an energy healing session.
Just have an open mind and it will open your heart.
Due to social conditioning men still often need time to open their hearts more than women ~ Reiki is not just for women!
We all carry little and large traumas in our hearts and in our cells. Massage and Reiki Seichem and any time spent engaging in self-care helps us to let go of the past and feel renewed resilience for the next day.
Make peace with yourself even if it's for one day, one hour!
